PM Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana 2025:પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રમયોગી માનધન યોજના ગુજરાત
The unorganized sector, which employs millions of laborers and working-class individuals, often faces financial instability due to irregular work opportunities. To address this issue and provide social security to these workers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana (PMSYM). Under this scheme, workers in the unorganized sector can avail a monthly pension of ₹3,000 after attaining the age of 60. This initiative aims to ensure financial stability and a dignified life for laborers in their old age.
What is PM Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana?
The PM Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana is a pension scheme designed specifically for workers in the unorganized sector. It requires beneficiaries to contribute a small premium regularly between the ages of 18 and 60. In return, they receive a fixed monthly pension of ₹3,000 after turning 60. The scheme is operated under the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), ensuring its reliability and transparency.
Key Benefits of the Scheme
1. Monthly Pension of ₹3,000 : After the beneficiary turns 60, they will receive a pension of ₹3,000 every month for life.
2. Spousal Pension : In case of the beneficiary’s death, their spouse will receive 50% of the pension (₹1,500).
