Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has announced the online application process for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2026. This exam is for admission into Class 6 for the academic session 2026-27 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across India. Eligible students can apply online through the official website, navodaya.gov.in, starting from 30th May 2025 until 29th July 2025.

Age Limit for JNVST 2026

  • Recent passport-size photograph of the candidate

Eligibility Criteria


District-Specific Admission: Candidates can only apply for the JNV in the same district where they are currently studying in Class V.  

Class V Enrollment: The student must be enrolled in Class V for the entire academic year 2025-26 in a Government/Government-aided/recognized school in the same district where admission is sought.
