Benefits of the Scheme

Under this initiative, eligible farmers will receive financial assistance to purchase a smartphone. The government provides a 40% subsidy, up to a maximum of ₹6,000, while the remaining 60% is to be paid by the farmer. This support enables farmers to:

• Check market prices and sell produce at competitive rates.

• Maintain digital land records and banking transactions efficiently.  

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Smartphone Sahay Yojana, applicants must meet the following conditions:  

• Must be a farmer actively engaged in agriculture in Gujarat.  

• Each farmer can avail the benefit only once.  

• In case of joint landholding, only one farmer per account is eligible.  

Required Documents

Farmers need to submit the following documents while applying:  

• Aadhaar card copy of the applicant.  
• Original smartphone bill with GST details.  
• IMEI number of the purchased smartphone.  
• Land ownership documents (8-A copy).  
• Cancelled cheque and bank passbook copy.  

How to Apply Online

1. Visit the iKhedut Portal ([https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in]

2. Click on the "Plans" section on the homepage.  

3. Select Agriculture-Related Schemes and choose the Smartphone Purchase Assistance Scheme.  

4. Click "Apply Now" and enter your Aadhaar and mobile number.  

5. If already registered on iKhedut, select "Yes"; otherwise, choose "No" and fill in the required details.  

6. Submit the form, take a printout, and submit it to the nearest agriculture office with the necessary documents.
